Jeff Addison

I am Jeff Addison, born in Michigan, native of the Midwest, including St. Louis, Springfield, Minneapolis, and Lincoln. Yes, I like the cold. I’ve always enjoyed the cold as a kid and as an adult to play in it and work in it. Weird, I know! But I do love to vacation in Florida.

I married my college sweetheart and began my career as a chef after graduating from the culinary apprenticeship program at Johnson County Community College in 1996. I specialized in catering, and sculpted ice for weekend brunches and special events. My carving skills were honed over the years, one job led to another, and I found my niche in the hospitality industry. I began Cool Carvings from the ground up, continually making improvements to processes and displays. I have designed some of my own carving tools, as well as the display equipment which is custom made for my ice presentations. I’m continually striving to raise the standards for a spectacular product. Artistry and creativity, as well as professionalism and faith, are what I believe to be our keys to success.

I am blessed to be able to work with so many great people at the best events in Kansas City. I love the challenge of designing and sculpting each hand crafted piece. It’s what I was meant to do.

Col 3:17  “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him”.

THANK YOU!! I am forever blessed to be a part of your family. I will pass it on!
